Better Place Forests provides families with the opportunity to choose a private, protected tree in a beautiful forest setting to serve as a final resting place for their cremated remains. Every memorial tree includes their choice of tree in a protected forest, rights to add people and pets in the future, ongoing access to enjoy the forest, and saplings planted in their honor. The company's mission is to guide a comprehensive end-of-life experience deeply rooted in nature.

Key Features

Memorial Trees: Instead of graves and tombstones, families select a tree in one of the company's forests to serve as a memorial.

Ash Spreading Process: The company has developed a proprietary method of integrating ashes with soil, allowing the remains to become part of the forest ecosystem.

Conservation Efforts: Better Place Forests has created America's first conservation memorial forests and their nine forests feature more than 100,000 protected Memorial Trees. By choosing a tree in one of their forests, customers contribute to forest conservation and preservation.

Non-Profit Aspect: In partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, they have planted over 500,000 new saplings to help reforest America.
